The Home Comfort Hunting Lodge is located 14 miles east of Stuttgart Arkansas. We cater to the hunting parties who come to the area and have secured a hunting location, but now need a comfortable lodge. Without a comfortable Lodge, most hunters end up staying in hotels in Stuttgart and eating out in restaurants three meals a day.
We at the Home Comfort Lodge are a full service lodging facility, catering to duck and goose hunting parties of 4 or more. While staying at the lodge you and your party will enjoy all the comforts of home and more.
The idea of the Home Comfort Lodge was of Tom Sutton. He grew up and has lived in the Stuttgart area most of his life, he always had in the back of his mind the idea of building a hunting lodge. After three years of labor, with the support of wife June, it has become a reality. The 2003 - 2004 season was the Grand Opening.
With the large living area and game room with pool table combination, you and your guest will be able to return after the morning hunt and relax before the afternoon hunt or maybe prepare dinner on the large barbeque grill in the courtyard.
The lodge comes furnished with a large kitchen including gas range, side by side refrigerator, microwave oven, dish washer, all cooking utensils with a handmade large kitchen table with seating for 12 hungry hunters. All you need to provide will be groceries; a cook and cleaning service are available at an addition cost.
The lodge has three large bedrooms with the accommodations to sleep 12 comfortably, all bed linens provided. There are also three bathrooms with showers and towels also provided.
NOW EXPANDING, Yes, That's right we are in the progress of expanding our facility to accommodate multiple parties of hunters. The Home Comfort Lodge has expanded into the boyhood home of Tom Sutton only a stones throw away from the original lodge. This new facility has three bedrooms, two baths, large kitchen and living area. All the conveniences of the original lodge with a different flair.
